In July 2022, GCAA hosted two skills competitions sponsored by MLB- Pitch, Hit and Run as well as the Jr. Home Run Derby.  Area youth came to Wilson Park to have some fun and show off their baseball and softball skills.

Winners of the skills competitions were invited to advance to additional regional rounds of competition hosted by Major League Baseball.
